AC/DC Merchandise EFTPOS

Rock Gods AC/DC toured Australia in 2016 as part of their Rock or Bust tour, one of Australia’s largest grossing music tours in history.  This of course meant plenty of noise, and plenty of merchandise!

TSG supported the merchandise team with “rock” solid EFTPOS for the Australian leg of the tour, ensuring secure WiFi was available at all shop locations.  It was lucky we did, as the mobile coverage definitely degraded throughout some of the larger shows.  The majority of mobile EFTPOS terminals in the market utilise the 3G cellular network, the same network that supports your mobile phone.  If you think it’s frustrating not being able to upload a selfie at a concert, imagine what it’s like when you have a line of over a hundred amped up punters trying to buy flashing devil horns and not being able to complete the sale!  It’s just not Rock n Roll…
